A distinctive style which comes from the vineyard: initial impression of blueberries, quite intense, almost buchu-like seam, but in a good way. Has the variety’s trademark elegance, fresh plushness and polish, but offers its own interpretation of Pinot Noir. Heaps of flavour, the palate shows layers of raspberries, even cassis, and the body is silky, the oaking masterful: 12 months older barrels, adding spice but not interfering with the fruit profile. Not a lean or mean bone in its body. Lovely drinkability, already giving pleasure.
