Semillon appears as a component in a few wines in the ranges, Sauvignon Blanc, Partners Blend, Dry Rosé, and this Semillon shows why, these farm vineyards do it to perfection. Melon and ginger, an earthy nuance, just 13% alcohol but feels richer, fuller than that. The 9 months oaking is from older barrels, 4 years +, which gives a gentle savoury overlay, a honeyed nutty richness  but minimal tannin structure. A wine with personality, with lovely creaminess to the texture. Lots of flavour and a very long finish. A limited release in the top tier, just 100 cases.
